Case Report:

Molar pregnancy (Gestational trophoblastic disease) is an uncommon condition which can result in catastrophic PV bleeding. The mainstay of the treatment is manual evacuation, chemotherapy and surgery. We have treated 5 such cases with embolization of the uterine artery. Embolization performed on principles of pelvic trauma rather UFE. The aim was to reduce flow to stop extravasation. Gelfoam used to give the patients the optimum chance of re-vascularization to preserve fertility
