Background:

Stent migration is one of the complications after endo vascular intervention. visceral stent migration into the aorta with recurrent of the symptoms requires active management

Material(s) and Method(s):

We represent case with renovascular hypertention treated with angioplasty and stenting with complete resolution of hypertention, patient presented 3 months later with hypertention. CTA showed stent migration into the aorta with recurrence of the renal artery stenosis an innovative management with retrival of the stent  and re  using ballon and snare  to re allocate the migrated stent then re stenting done successfully.

Result(s):

Successful stent retreval and  with re alocation  into common iliac artery followed by restenting of the renal artey and complete cure of the hyper tention was successfully achieved.

Conclusion(s):

Innovative thinking to deal with unusual complication is required to give best chance with minimum morbidity to our patient in the area of endo vascular therapy.
